New York (AP) — If you’re unemployed or trying to find a job, you’ll have to apply online for unemployment payments.

New York unemployment applicants can use a variety of methods to apply, but the best way to apply is by mail.

To apply online, follow these steps:Step 1.

Download and open the application, titled “New York Unemployment Application.”

Step 2.

Click the link “Apply Online” on the page.

Step 3.

Click on “Send Mail to: New York Unemployment, PO Box 1521, New York, NY 10017” in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 4.

Click “Apply” on a completed form and wait for a confirmation email.

You’ll need to complete a form that includes your name, address, and contact information.

Step 5.

Mail your completed form to New York State Department of Labor, Labor Services and Employment, 1380 East 93rd Street, Suite 900, New Jersey City, NJ 08052.

You can also mail your completed application directly to the unemployment department.

Step 6.

You will receive an email from the department.

The application will take 10 to 15 business days to complete.

You can start applying in person at your local job fair, unemployment office, or other location in New Jersey.
