Adam Lallsa, the Manchester United midfielder who was at Stamford Bridge on Sunday to receive treatment, has been diagnosed with a hamstring strain.

The Manchester United defender, who is in the squad for Sunday’s game at Stamford Fl, had been expected to be available for selection for the match against Chelsea.

The 28-year-old is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days.

The team are not yet ruling out Lallsas availability for the Europa League match against Sevilla at home on Sunday, but the injury does not appear to be serious.
