Gamestops, which are some of the biggest retailers in the United States, announced Monday it is hiring a software engineer to join its workforce.
Gamestop CEO Joe Eszterhas said the job would provide a “big boost” to the company’s workforce and a “global presence” for the fast-food chain.
Ezterhis added that the position would provide the company with the ability to “implement more efficient processes and better manage its processes and operations.”
The new job would be at the company headquarters in Burbank, Calif.
The hiring of the software engineer comes after a string of recent hires at the retailer.
Last week, a former Gamestoke employee left the company and was later hired by the company.
The company has also hired two new software engineers.
The company announced its hiring of another software engineer last month.
Earlier this year, the company announced that it had added more than 800 new jobs.
