Posted June 05, 2019 05:04:38For more than 20 years, a family in Miami Beach has lived in an empty lot.

They say they never expected it to come to that.

But on Wednesday, they got a letter that will change their lives forever.

The letter was sent by an agency that works to collect foreclosures and foreclosing on homeowners.

It says that if the property is sold to a third party, the sale will be subject to a $50,000 cash transfer.

The agency said it will also ask the bank to pay the value of the home.

The Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office says the letters comes from the Miami-Hollywood Bank.

The bank is not involved in the foreclosure process, and says it is working with the family to find a buyer.
